Hi all,

I was wondering if my psu can support a 1070 gpu upgrade? I am looking at Asus 1070 Turbo.

Greetings,

Welcome to the forum.

The 500 watt PSU in your PC should be fine provided it has two PCIe 6+2 pin supplemental connectors to power the 1070.

The 1070 should fit in your chassis. I have installed 10.5 inch graphics cards in this case. This chassis will take dual slot graphics cards.

Just verify the length of the card you want to buy to ensure it fits in the chassis.

Hi,

Thanks for your reply! I went ahead and bought that Asus gtx 1070 Turbo which is 10.5 inch graphics card. And yes it fits perfectly into the case with extra space! I just need to organize a bit on the cables so that it will not hit the fan. My psu has an unused 8 pin so I use it on my new graphics card. Now the 6 pin which was used by the previous gtx 760 was left dangling.

Thanks again!

Regards.

Hi TimeFanatic,

You're very welcome.

Good to hear the upgrade went smoothly.
