This PC comes with great CPU and cute tiny case BUT the PSU is 180 with part number L08261-001.
I cannot find much info and a couple of items İve seen on aliexpress lack clarity as to the compatibility with my system at hand. One 500w PSU item in particular, claiming to be of PA-5501-2HA variety - I found the part number to be L77487-001 (image below), looks very similar both in shape/dimensions as well as connectors to the one that I currently have. But I dont want to risk incompatibility and ship it back in case it doesnt work, so I want your help. Will this work with my PC?! thank you.

Welcome to our HP community forum!
I see what you mean -looking at the "P2" power connector:
In my opinion, that should work. If also the power supply's dimensions (LxWxH) are a fit for your ProDesk, I would certainly consider trying it. Meaning, it will either work or it will not. In my experience, that is the worst that could happen. The challenge is to get one of the 500-watt power supplies and be able to return it to the Seller if it doesn't work. -I'm sorry, but this advice is the best you're going to get from our forum, since HP hasn't compiled a comprehensive power supply compatibility list.
Kind Regards,
