I want to add more storage to my computer, but there seems to be no SATA port within the motherboard, only a "HDD connector" which seems to be only a power connector. Is there any way i can work around this?
Model: pavilion all in one 24 xa0xxx
Mother board details: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c06117849
HHD connector:
HDD connector

Your link only shows the motherboard, not the actual components. What is the model # ??
I do believe your computer only has a M.2 socket 3. Which usually denotes an NVMe device. If it was an NVMe device with the WIN OS, I would suggest upgrading it to larger capacity, and using the original as an external device to store backed up folders. You would need a USB3.0 to m.2 NVMe external to clone the OS, then swap the NVMe devices. Be aware this adapter is only USB3.0 speed.
If not an NVMe device, then you go the external SATA route. Add an external data storage device. An external device will only obtain SATA3 speeds. It can be as small as a m.2 SATA enclosure. See the example shown. Use B+M SATA type of M.2 device.
2.5" to USB3.0 enclosure can be used with a 2.5" SSD drive.
