My suggestion is to use a hard drive tray caddy (which your Workstation should already be equipped with) in your drives cage, with p/n: L10316-001, which looks like this:

The removeable hard drive enclosure for an HP Z2 Tower G9 Workstation has p/n: 712791-001 "SPS-Carrier/frame IcyDock C5 w/screws". 

And it happens to be yet another difficult/expensive part to order...
