I have an HP EliteDesk 705 G3 SFF, and I want to upgrade the processor. The current processor is an AMD A12-8870, and I want to upgrade it to an AMD Ryzen 5 5600G. I'm not sure if a BIOS update will make this possible

According to the answer Paul gives in this thread, the answer is "Looks like the best processor you can install would be the AMD PRO A12-9800."
