Alright so I unplug the hard drive then plug in the ssd and after that. I plug in the flash drive which has the cloning software?

HP Recommended

You have the cart before the horse.  The cloning has to be done with the old drive and the new one connected else there is nothing to clone from.

The flash goes into a USB slot.  Move the old drive to where the optical drive is and put the new drive where the old one is.

The optical drive is  not used and is reconnected after the old drive is removed.

@KillaAvery1
we have already given you all the indications, I have the feeling, that you do not understand everything ..
Do you feel able to do this, you might want to ask for help?

I'm trying to see your picture, at the moment hard to say anything
but one thing, sorry, that shocks me, it is excessively dirty, I beg you to make me clean this, it is too full of dust

Can you make a nice photo, with it all flat well lighted

I have it installed now! I didn’t realize that the power connectors were all on the same cable. I used macrium to clone my HDD and it was a success! I do really 2 to clean the inside. Is it safe to just spray the dust out with canned air?

Phew, I was telling myself that it was strange not to have the connector here ..
Be careful not to use anything that could send humidity.
test on another surface
You must unplug the computer
see this:

this is not the desired video
don't do anything but clean it looks to me like he's talking about installing bios, a fan etc, don't mind that
the video I had no longer seems to be available:
