Then you should be able to press the power button and  have the system and running as before with your new case.

Well done!!

Now you can step up to a DIY build with  your own motherboard and processor choices next time.

With the exception of having installing the processor and putting on thermal interface material, it isn't much diffferent. It does require quite a bit of research to get the correct memory module, PSU, SSD type and video card. That is the tricky part.

There are websites which explain the process of building a DIY PC. This is the HP Global Peer-to_Peer suport website.

My purpose for volunteering here is to help people who are having problems with their HP prodiucts or who want to know how to do something with those products.

That is what I did for you earlier in this thread.

There are others who have authored threads like you did and they need help.

You are asking something  beyond  my reason for being here.

I am happy to have been able to help you, but I will move on now and find another open thread where someone needs my help within the intended purpose of the forum.

Hi @rickyleeritter

This is an old solved thread. I will be closing it to new comments in order to help keep the content of the forum current.

It is highly recommended that you follow the suggestion that was given to you and author your own thread with all of the information requested included in the thread to save time.
