I would like to add RAM to my computer.
It has 1 x 16gb chip.
I see 1 additional slot available.
Can I add another 16gb chip and have 32gb RAM.
also, could I replace the existing 16gb chip with a 32gb chip and add a 2nd 32gb chip for a total of 64gb RAM?
if so how much would each cost? 16gb = $?? 32gb = $??

HI,
Using 875-0000a shows three possible motherboards.
All motherboards (MB) have the following memory upgrade specs:
- Dual channel (1 DIMM per channel) memory architecture
- Two DDR4 UDIMM (288-pin) sockets
- Supports PC4-21300 (DDR4-2666)
- Supports 8 GB and 16 GB DDR4 UDIMMs
- Supports up to 4 GB on 32-bit systems
NOTE:
32-bit systems cannot address a full 4.0 GB of memory. - Supports up to 32 GB (unbuffered) with 16 GB DIMMs on 64-bit computers.
NOTE:
Maximum memory shown reflects the capability of the hardware and can be limited further in the operating system.
You can add one more 16 GB memory module. Per HP, this MB does not support 32 GB memory modules.
Cost can vary. Crucial Memory (Link) is usually compatible with HP MBs
