Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I am wondering if I can upgrade the processor in my HP Envy 700-406 to an Intel to support a robust video editing program

Hi:

 

Below is the link to the product specs page for your PC.

 

The only processors you can upgrade it to would be one of the AMD processors listed under the Processor Upgrade section.

You may want to consider adding a graphics card that works with your PC's 300 W power supply, which would help more for what you want to do than upgrading the processor.

 

You can start a new post regarding a suitable video card for your PC, because I don't have a huge amount of experience in that area.
