Im looking to upgrade my Hp pavillion gaming computer 690-0000 that has AMD ryzen 3 2200 G Radeon Vega Gtaphics 3.5 GHZ. When I used userbenchmark to test my computer it recommened Intel core i5-9400 but My mother board is 8433 Sunflower with a AM4 socket. So instead Could I use ryzen 7 2700x? But I dont know what GPU to use that will work with my Motherboard, userbench recommended Nvidia GTX 1660-Ti but I dont know if its compatible.
Im really new to this so I would appreicate the help.

@Jay766 , welcome to the forum.
What is the full model or product number of the computer? I need this information to review the specifications of it. Please don't furnish the Serial # or other personal information. Here is a guide to help you find it.

Thank you for the additional information, @Jay766!
Here is the Product Specifications page for the computer. If you look at the sections titled "Processor upgrade information" and "Memory upgrade information" it lists the processors and memory that are compatible with the motherboard. This means they have been fully tested to assure they will work. Any other processor or memory is unlikely to work properly.
Q: Also Does the SSD and RAM have to be compatible to the motherboard?
A: All components that you use in your computer have to be compatible with the motherboard or they simply won't work.
Here is the memory and SSD's that are recommended by Crucial Memory. If Crucial recommends one of their products for your computer it is guaranteed to work. You can contact their Tech Support if you have questions about their products. They make very good products for OEM computers, such as, those manufactured by HP.
When it comes to upgrading the video card their are several important things to consider:
1) the size of the card to assure that it will fit into the space provided for it. You can measure from the Back I/O ports to the front of the case and compare this measurement to the length of the card.
2) the wattage required to run the card properly and does the card require additional power connectors. Most newer cards require a minimum of 300W to 400W. Also, some require 1x6-pin connector or 1x8-pin connector or both in many instances.
The power supply unit (PSU) in your computer is only 310W. HP has their motherboards made to their specifications. Your motherboard has a proprietary 4-pin power connector. Standard ATX PSU's have a 24-pin ATX power connector. Therefore, you would need an adapter from the 24-pin connector on the PSU to the 4-pin connector on the motherboard. I haven't found one any place on the Internet. The GTX 1660 Ti's that I have reviewed require 450W and 1x8 power connector. So, for these reasons I don't believe that you can upgrade your video card to a 1660.
I know I have given you a lot to consider. So, if you have more questions, please don't hesitate to ask.
