Thank you for the additional information.  I know that you will enjoy the SSD.  It doesn't matter what size it is.  It will still give you the speed that you want.

No, I don't believe that you can only migrate the OS.  However, you can delete or move anything that you don't want to the HDD.  Also, you can install future apps to the HDD.
