I would like to upgrade the power supply of my PC since I want to replace my current RX 550 with an RTX 4060. However, to do that, I need a power supply with at least 400W, while my current one is an HP AcBel L63694-004 with 310W (at least I think so). I'm looking for a compatible power supply with 500W or more with at least one 6+2 pin connector for the graphics card.

Could someone suggest a suitable power supply for all of this?

@Gab_08,

Welcome to our HP Community forum!

The part number for a 400-watt power supply is L04618-800, which should be sufficient to power either a smaller-sized (dual fan) RTX 4060 (115-watt TDP) or RTX 5060 (145-watt TDP) model.

The part number for a 500-watt power supply is either L05757-800 (larger sized, will fit in your case) or the regular-sized 901759-013.

Thank you very much for your help. Anyway, I just wanted to ask to be sure: is a 400W power supply enough for the whole PC if I add an RTX 5060, or would it be better to go for the 500W one?

Because if the 400W isn’t 100% sufficient, then I wouldn’t mind getting the 500W. However, I’m worried it might not fit in the PC case, since from the pictures I’ve seen, it looks noticeably larger than my current power supply.

What do you think is the best option?

(If possible, could you send me the link to purchase the power supply?)

@Gab_08,

An RTX 5060 has a 145-watt TDP, meaning, a quality 400-watt power supply such as the unit with p/n: L04618-800 will provide sufficient power for the card and your PC.

Trust me, the larger-sized 500-watt power supply with p/n: L05757-800 will fit in your PC.

Your nation of original is listed as Italy, and I am not sure which of the eCommerce sites (Amazon, eBay, AliExpress, etc.) you would or can use in your country.
