Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi All, I have an HP Desktop M01-F1006na Core i5 (10400). On checking, I see that my factory installed DDR4-3200 MHz RAM is running at (only) 1600MHz, Is there (any) method by which I can increase the speed up to the 3200Mhz? Thank you.

Hi:

With only one memory chip, the memory runs in single channel mode, which is half the speed of dual channel mode.

So, your PC's memory is running just fine, since 1/2 of 3200 = 1600.

If you had two of the same memory chips installed, the report would still indicate 1600 MHz, but the mode would be listed as dual channel, so you multiply the report by 2.
