Summarizing, according to your desktop's specs: https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c01869333, your HP Compaq dc7900 Small Form Factor has four (4) RAM slots. Maximum allowable RAM for your system is 4 x 4GB RAM sticks for a total of 16GB.
Compatible RAM memory is listed as the DDR2-SDRAMM DIMM, Unbuffered PC2-6400 (800 MHz), 240-pin RAM sticks.
So, it looks like you have 2 x 2GB RAM sticks, one is made by HP and the other from Micron.
In general, it is best to have matching RAM sticks, but that is neither here or there.
The Micron RAM is compatible with your PC: MT16HTF25664AY-800G1 Micron = 2GB PC2-6400 DDR2-800MHz non-ECC Unbuffered CL6 240-Pin DIMM Dual Rank Memory Module.
As long as you fit these two RAM modules in channel A (RAM slots 1 & 2, closest to your processor), it should work.
Kind Regards,
