Hello, first of all I would like to thank you for your time. Now, I bought a graphics card ( gtx 1050 ti) to update my computer ( hp pheonix 1130) but when the graphics card is installed in the pci-e x 16 jack and I turn on my pc,
the screen remains frozen on a black screen with information about my processor.
I do not know what to do to solve this problem. Sorry for my english
thank you!

Hi
Using your link I see a BIOS update, 7.16 Rev A.
HP UEFI BIOS definitions started with 8.0.
I don't what else to say but based on what I see your PC has a Legacy BIOS.
Search using "msinfo32" Check the BIOS version. Maybe you have a version 8.xx BIOS.
If that is the case you have enter BIOS, go to Security. Disable Secure boot and enable Legacy boot.
Save changes and exit.
Then enter on screen code to confirm.

Hi Chuck
Phoenix 1130 is not a valid HP product number.
I know the Phoenix series systems did not have a UEFI BIOS.
The GTX 1050 requires a UEFI BIOS.
The GTX 1050 will not initialize on your PC.
You can install an Nvidia 660 or 670 graphics card but cannot use the 700, 900, or 1000 series Nvidia cards in your PC.

The Angelica motherboard uses an AMI BIOS version 7 or version 8 that is compatible with UEFI (Unified Extensible Firmware Interface) reference : https://support.hp.com/ca-en/document/c03092621
