Product: HP ENVY Desktop - 795-0030qd
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have an HP ENVY Desktop - 795-0030qd and I want to add a 1tb internal hard drive that I removed from my old Dell Computer but the Dell Hard Drive bracket does not fit the HP Deive Cage.

 

There is a HD cage for HDD2 and HDD3 that are empty..  The drive I am trying to install is a Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 1tb drive.  I could also add a Western Digital Caviar SE 3200AAKS while I'm at it but I ahve the same problem.  Both seem to be listed as 3.5" drives.

 

Can you tell me the part name, number and where I could buy it?

Welcome to the forum.

I am not a HP employee.

 

Check with Wb2001.

 

I am pretty sure this forum member has a solution. You need special screws to install the HDD in the HDD cage.
