Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I would like to improve the CPU.

Currently I have using i5 8500T, and I know that i9 9900T has the same socket and power consumption. Is it possible to upgrade it?

Note: I'm not facing any error, or slow. Just I want to know if is it possible to improve.

Thanks

@mapicam , welcome to the forum.

Here is the Maintenance and Service Guide for the computer:  http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c06042257

On Page 3 is a list of compatible processors and on Page 34 are the instructions for replacing the processors.  However, the i9-9900T is not listed as one of the compatible processors.  HP has their motherboards made to their specifications.  Therefore, they are not necessarily the same as retail boards.  This means they limit the processors that are compatible.

thank you @old_geekster, I understand that HP has not open hardware, but this document was written on May 2018.
