I have the OMEN by HP 25L Gaming Desktop PC GT15-2000i, and when buying it I was told I’d be able to install a Thunderbolt 3 PCIE. Unfortunately, when I reached out to HP they stated that that is not the case. I am not able to add a PCIE.
I have devices that require me to connect via Thunderbolt 3 (or 2.). I am having trouble using these devices.

Is there a driver I can download to make the USB C ports thunderbolt compatible? Do I need to buy a dock? Thank you!

Is there a way to make it so I can use my Thunderbolt device? Any recommendations?

HP Recommended

the Thunderbolt devices are compatible with USB-C use the one with the highest speed (10 Gbps), if you want to use it to connect a monitor you cannot.

Thank you very much.
I tried both of the USB-C ports yesterday and they did not work. My computer stated that their connection is “limited.” Is there a thunderbolt driver from intel that I need to install?

HP Recommended

No, you cannot install any driver that does not exist. Have a USB-C port, not thunderbolt, no software is going to convert a hardware.

The error when it happens , that connects to the USB-C port.

Yes, when I connect to either USB-C port it says that the connection is limited.

but what hardware are you connecting? cannot connect monitors, is not a DisplayPort port.

It is an audio interface. If it helps, it is an: Apollo Twin mkii (by Universal Audio). It uses a Thunderbolt 2 cord, but I have a Thunderbolt 3 adapter that I used for my last computer.

HP Recommended

most likely are not compatible with the drivers of the Apollo Twin mkii
