Hi, i was wondering if my motherboard was going to fit in my new case

There should not be any problems as that case should accommodate most any motherboard. Just be careful with the stud mounts, making sure to duplicate the locations from the old case.

That was my concern and the reason I mentioned the stud mounts. You have to be very careful to not have a stud in the wrong place or the motherboard could get shorted. If the statement "Doesn't fit ended up shorting the motherboard" happened that is the reason. There is no other way for it to short out the motherboard except there was a stud in the wrong location.
