Hello, I am having some issues the the TB3 add in card and thought I would try installing the suggested firmware update that shows up when I enter my serial number. 

This is the downloaded TB3 firmware update: sp112609 

 

The utility launches but can't seem to find the add in card

Thunderbolt controller cannot be detected.

Is this even the correct firmware for the TB3 add in card for the HP Z8 G4?

If so, how to perform a successful flash?
