Keyboard function keys

HP Envy 32

Hi

My keyboard automatically sets function keys so for example volume is reduced by pressing F1. I would want volume change to become secondary rather than a primary command. Please advise of how to change this setting

@MDB1983 , welcome to the Community.

If your keyboard is a newer Multi-media version, there is no way to lock the Fn key.  The engineers decided that the keys should default to Multi-media.  The only possible option that you have is try to find a third-party app that will override the hold the Fn key option.
