@Kem1204, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding HP All-in-One Keyboard Issues!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

If you are experiencing issues with an HP All-in-One computer where the mouse works but the keyboard does not, here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot the problem:

Check Wireless Receiver: Ensure that the receiver for your keyboard is securely plugged into a USB port. If the connection is loose, the keyboard may not communicate properly with the computer.

Check Batteries: Since you've already changed the batteries, ensure they are properly installed and are fresh. Sometimes batteries can appear to be working but are actually low on power.

Re-sync Keyboard: HP wireless keyboards often need to be synchronized with the receiver. For keyboards with a connect button, press and hold the connect button on the back of the keyboard while holding it close to the receiver. Look for any indication lights that might show that synchronization has occurred.

Try Different USB Port: Unplug the receiver and try inserting it into a different USB port on your computer. Sometimes a port can be faulty, and moving to a different one could solve the issue.

Physical Reset: If there is a hidden USB port behind a panel on some models, ensure that no receivers are lodged there mistakenly. You can also reset any USB connections by temporarily uninstalling and re-plugging them.

Check Device Manager: Navigate to the Device Manager on your computer to ensure that the keyboard is recognized. If there are any issues, you might see a yellow exclamation mark next to the device.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
