Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My current PC is at the end of its useful life, but has a lot of elements I'd like to keep if possible. I'm honestly looking for a relatively inexpensive system that's compatible with modern GPUs and I've landed on the Z220 line. I'd like to strip out the MB and install in my own aftermarket case but I wanted to make sure HP has not started using proprietary MB connectors for things like system power or fans like Dell has. I'd also like to know if anyone has a pin diagram for the power switch / LED.

Any help appreciated.

@Jaa0109 , welcome to the forum.

Here is a HP knowledge Base article that will tell you the things to know before attempting to move a HP motherboard to another case:  https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Gaming-Knowledge-Base/Moving-HP-Motherboard-to-a-new-gaming-case/ta-p/...

I know it is talking about gaming cases, but you will have the same concerns with any third-party case.

Here is the Maintenance and Service Guide for the Z200 series:  http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c04205252

On Pages 174 and 175 is a list of Motherboard designators for the Z220 Convertible Minitower (CMT).  It appears that the main power connector has 18-pins.  On many of HP's motherboards they have gone to a 4-pin main power connector.  This makes it very difficult to upgrade the power supply unit (PSU) to support the newer video cards.
