I am looking for a m.2 ssd upgrade for my pc, I’d prefer 1TB in storage.

 

PC model: hp slimline pc desktop 270-p0xx

Motherboard: hp 82f2

I am looking for a 1TB m.2 however I am unsure what m.2 ssd is compatible with my pc.

@zEddie277 -- is this your computer: HP Slimline 270-p000 Desktop PC series Product Information | HP® Customer Support

 

At the bottom of the list on the above web-page is: 

HP Desktop PCs - motherboard specifications, Lubin | HP® Customer Support

 

The diagram on that page shows one "M.2 SSD socket".

 

Any M.2 device that you purchase should fit into that socket.

maybe you need more information !

it's up to you, but there is here, among other things (I think there are other answers), a subject with a tested ssd, validated functional
