Product: Pavilion 570-p020
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Wanting to do some light online gaming on my PC (iRacing). Ran a hardware check on the site and my graphics card isn't good enough (says I need 2GB of dedicated memory). I'm looking at the Radeon R5 340X. A couple of questions - will this video card be sufficient, will it fit in my PC, and will I need to upgrade the power supply if I choose to use this graphics card? The last question, I know a gaming PC is preferred, but will this PC be able to handle iRacing on a light basis? Right now all of the hardware in the PC is stock. Thanks!

I have been pondering this for a while. I had hoped someone would show some stats.

Sorry to say this, but the r5 340x is far below the standards needed for minimum play.

Minimum play versus your choice.  The only conclusion is that you need to go here and test your unit.

Here is a HP Knowledge Base article that will help you with what to consider when upgrading the video card:

You don't have to be concerned about the BIOS/UEFI.  The motherboard does have UEFI.  The wattage of your power supply unit (PSU) is only 300W.  This may cause a problem, since most newer cards require at least 400W.  According to the specifications for the 340X it requires 350W.

You should run a search for the system requirements of the iracing games that you want to play.  Then, compare them to specifications of your computer and the 340X.  This will help you determine if it they will run properly.
