Hi Community,
I recently purchased the "OMEN 45L Gaming Desktop GT22-1004ng - NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 4080 (2023)".
After first inspection there is a heatsink for one of the M.2 slots missing, right below the CPU (not sure if I can upload a picture of this). Now I do not know, if this was forgotten, or if it was not assemled due to a lack of space between it and the huge 4080 GTX. I would like to know for sure and also if the GFX card is the problem, as imho the heatsink could have also been added to the package with a note not to use with that GXF. Still waiting for a response from support on this, I could not find any information on this by mayelf. Maybe omeone of you purchased also a 45L with a 4080 GTX and has had a similar or a different experiecnce.

Correct me if I am wrong, but from looking at your picture, it appears to me that there is space above the M.2 NVMe SSD slot next to your graphics card to allow the installation of an M.2 NVMe SSD heatsink?
If I were to bet -and I am not a betting person, I would bet that HP is not going to give you any heatsink. I could be mistaken, but one could always try -Ja?
Anyway, I would skip the annoyances and buy something like this purchase example via Amazon-Germany: GRAUGEAR Dual Heatsink for M.2 NVMe SSD , Passive, 2x M.2 Cooler Kits, 1x Suitable for PlayStation5,..., the black heatsink having my preference.
Hope this was helpful.
Kind Regards,

The text shown "Must install SSD with Heatsink" make the missing quite obvious, but also by the size of the other sinks it looks risky close to the GFX. From this post: Re: Add m2 drive to omen 45l - HP Support Community - 8641055 I got the youtube video which also shows a slot without the teatsink, but it seems to be a different board.
