I have this PC :
BIOS Vers. 6.12
Last week I have installed:
Gainward GeForce GTX 750 GS 2GB
This card don't need external power and work fine with my HP Pavilion Elite HPE-320CH Desktop-PC Win7
@20.7.2016
I must correct me: Since three days I have tried to install Windows 7 Pro on my Computer. The updates was blocked - last night I have found a batch package on the site from chip.de.
So my Gainward GeForce GTX 750 GS 2GB works fine now - but only with the Nvidia driver and software which I have received with Windows Update. By PhysX, it has no hook!
It's not possible to install the new driver and software from Nvidia. You have to wait up of windows update. I think for me it's not a problem - but for extreme gamers probably less well.
The advantage of this card is that it requires no external power supply. Respectively it is not connected to the power supply. The fan is very quiet and the computer is always cold. So you have to buy only this graphic card nothing more for an older HP with a power supply of at least 400 Watt.
The update to Win10 was also impossible ( I have wait one night) so I can not say whether the software from Nvidia then could be easily updated.

Conclusion:
Motherboard MS -7613 can run gtx 970. But in that it is pcie 3.0, I can not use 100% of the plaque.
Thanks HP, always the best pcs

hi
When I ran 3-D Mark with my GTX 970 on the same motherboard with PCI express 2.0, I got the same or even above average benchmarks as other GTX 970 cards running PCI express 3.0!
I agree HP makes awesome PCs, but their support is lacking.

@twix87
Yes because as I can see in your screenshots - you have the Motherboard version 1.1 whit the Bios Version 6.18 from 2012.
I have the Motherboard version 1.0 whit the Bios Version 6.12 from 2010 and with this versions it is more difficult to find a compatible card.
So correctly we can say Motherboard MS -7613 version 1.1 with the Bios version 6.18 can run gtx 970.

@Koliofotis: I am running Gibabyte GTX960 4GB on MB version 1.0, bios 6.14 from 2010 (please see my screenshot of previous page of this theard) thus we can also say that MS-7613 version 1.1 with the Bios version 6.14 can run gtx 960.

I bought 4 new memories and the HP IONA-GL8E 575765-001 is not seeing the RAM's. Can this be because of the BIOS version that I have (20ies are (4):
4GB DDR3 PC-12800 DIMM/1600MHz
Did anybody had a problem like this one?
