Max Ram Upgrade for OMEN HP 25L GT15-0345st PC (33T59AA)

Hi,

I just bought a used HP Omen 25L GT15-0345st PC (33T59AA). I bought it so I can gift it to a family member that would like to get into gaming and video editing. I want to clean it up and upgrade it a little before I surprise him with it. Stock it comes with a RTX 3070, i7-12700, and 16BG of RAM. I already ordered a nice PC case off amazon for a great deal, and I already have a brand new 3080 FE that I never used going in as well. The CPU will stay stock cause it's already a pretty good one even for today's standard. The next two parts I want to upgrade is the PSU and RAM. I plan on buying used since the market is flooded with these parts. I plan on getting a 750 or 850W PSU. The only part I am not sure of, even after doing some searching, is the max amount of RAM this motherboard can handle....

All the searching I have done is I should be able to install 16GB of RAM (DDR4) per slot and have 64GB of RAM total. Am I correct in this?

To clarify, it supports up to 32GB per RAM slot or 32GB total i.e. max 8GB of Ram per slot?

Your PC allows a 32GB RAM module per RAM slot for a grand total of 128GB.
