- I wan't to check the maximum amount of RAM my computer can have so I can buy 2. I can't use my screen because my old RAM broke. My computer model is 14m-dw1013dx and is an HP laptop.

Please use the following way to find out the amount of RAM it supports
1. In the search box, search for cmd and click Run as administrator.
This will open the command prompt.
2. Once command prompt is opened, type wmic memphysical get maxcapacityEx and hit enter.
From here, it will show the maximum RAM capacity your PC's motherboard can support.
