Hello,
I want to upgrade my system memory from 4GB to 8GB but do not know what I should buy? Can anyone tell me what memory I need to buy?
Thanks

Hi:
I am pretty sure that you need to put the 2 GB of memory in slots 1 and 3 (and you should do that now so that it runs in DDR mode).
Then you put the 4 GB chip in slot 2 to balance out the other 4 GB.
So...
2 - 4- 2 -0
If you want 2 x 4 GB, then..,
2 - 4 - 2 - 4 or 4 - 2 - 4 - 2

Hi:
If you have the SFF and not the USDT, you need to buy desktop PC DDR3 memory (240 pin).
204 pin memory is what is used in notebook PC's, all in one PC's and the newer HP business USDT's.
See the specs below...

Thanks for your replay,
Yes, it's a SFF. I found the following from Kingston:
ValueRAM, Kingston’s industry standard memory, delivers award-winning performance and legendary Kingston reliability. When you know what you want, you want ValueRAM.
Specs: DDR3 , 1600MHz , Non-ECC , CL11 , 1.5V , Unbuffered , DIMM
I think this memory should work, what do you think?

I'm going to buy the memory but still had a question. As I mentioned, there is 4 GB of memory in my system. 2 cards of 2GB. These are in slot 1 and 2. Can 4GB in, for example, slot 3 so I have total 8gb of ram?
An employee of the company knew this not for sure.
