You're very welcome.

There is no service manual for your PC that I could find, but there is a service video library that should help you open the PC and install memory.

Hi:

What is the full model number or product number of your PC?

Use this guide to find that information...

Thanks Paul.  I think that will help.

Quick question - would this void any warrenty to upgrade the ram?

You're very welcome.

Since this is a peer to peer forum, and I don't work for or represent HP, I am not authorized to speak on behalf of HP regarding the warranty terms.

From the feedback we have received from other forum members, you will not void the warranty as long as you don't break anything in the process of opening up the PC, and as long as there is no seal/label on the PC that indicates the warranty will be void if the PC is opened.

The memory you install will not be covered by the warranty.

You may be asked to return the PC to its original configuration if you have to send it in for warranty repairs.

Looking at the specs for your PC, it appears it comes with 2 x 8 GB of memory, so you would have to remove both modules and install 2 x 16 GB to have 32 GB in your PC.

The motherboard illustration shows that it uses notebook-type SODIMM memory.

Does anyone know were I can order a replacement to the pull release sticky tape required to reattach the back of the unit after opening?  It is seen in the video removing the back panel.

I am actually going to take the machine to a HP Certified tech.  These All In One's are a little tricky to work with.
