I am receiving the Missing or Invalid Product Information System Board (00A) error on startup. After hitting "escape" the computer boots up as normal. I HAVE NOT done anything to the machine - no change of the motherboard, no service, nothing. I have not updated any software or anything that might prompt the missing information. The machine runs fine and I am not having any issues with any of the operations. I am still running windows 10 and unable to upgrade to Windows 11.
As of now, I am missing the following information:
Product name:
Product number:
Serial number:
Software build ID:
Feature byte:
OS version:

It will take an HP Proprietary utility to put that information back into the firmware.
Did that happen as a result of a BIOS update?
I suggest turning off the HP Suport Assistant's automatically update feature.

Thank you so much. Any ideas as to which specific HP utility I might need?
Pardon my novice status here, but do I technically NEED that information to show up on start-up? Does not having it impact the performance of the CPU?
I'll check the history to see if it happened as a result of a BIOS update and turn off any future updates.
Thanks again for your response!

HI @JA126
Unfortunately, proprietary in the electronics corporate world means something that a company does not make freely available.
The missing product information will have to be added back in by an HP Service Engineer. It can be done at an HP Service Center local to you.
The missing product information wiull have no effect on your processor or desktop PC's performance.
