I have an AIO PC that is missing the USB receiver for the mouse and keyboard. Where can I get a replacement? The mouse is model SM-2063, the keyboard is SK-2063.

Hello JHAngus; Welcome to your forum! just stay in www.hp.com/support once you go to that section locate the spare parts tab (on the far right side of the web page to order the missing parts just follow instructions on ordering
if this is a new model less than a year old call up or go to an operational computer to get in touch with Customer Support tell them your situation & they should send you the parts required to get you back in the saddle again
hope this helps
good luck
remember this is your forum we're always here for you when needed

Welcome back Angus JM!: unfortunately I have no idea how to do the direct link
you might have better luck with the other members who are savvier than myself
if there's no surcease from this vexing problem or you're at wits end\lat resort
just go to www.logitech.com they have quite a few wireless keyboard/mouse combos they can be acquired either together or separately just in case you like to try differing your PC capabilites\options
also there's a device called a unifying receiver which enables you run all the logitech equipment together & may enable to to control the computer as well if it's based on either Bluetooth or radio frequency technology
a some models can light up as well in case your vision is similar to "Mr Magoo's" back during the early '60's or you wish to show a little panache on your computer
finally they also offer periodic updates & other info as well
because my vision was becoming like the aforementioned iconic cartoon I have the Illuminated Keyboard which has a white backlit color to the keys as well as the G502 Proteus Core rodent I am very happy with both
good luck
hope this helps & is the final end to your futility

To AngusJM: at times it's does indeed boggle the brain as well as mangle your mind
We as owners can be pretty lucky that due to componentry as well as the Windows OS conforming to certain standard sizes et. al
we can indeed go to a 3rd party to get what we need & have a reasonable confidence that it works & we can pay a decent price if we have to get something else
more than likely it's due to inflation & profit margin pressure that brings us to this point
that's why I treat Mac people & owners with snide comptempt & disdain
can you imagine if you had any kind of Macintosh with your situation especially before they allowed Intel processors to run their PC's because the Power PC proc was threatening to turn their boxes into a version of "the Blob" because it was too toasty to run without some sort of liquid or airconditioned style cooling? as it is the Macs are more expensive as it is
if they required the former as standard equipment on their computers people would have to file for bankrupcy afterward?
ín conclusion I say Turn these Macintoshes into digital apple desserts and?...
Cheers!
Long Live the Windows hegemony!
please return if needed

I have found an ebay seller who has the black mouse available. Can someone from HP confirm that the keyboard and mouse aren't paired to a unique USB receiver? I.E. If I find the exact same model can they confirm the USB receiver will work with my original keyboard and mouse?

Hello again AngusJM: Glad you're back let me elaborate further; the supreme ultimate difference between HP & anything that comes out of Tim Cookville alias Apple Macintosh is that ever since 1989 to speed the acceptance of Windows style computing it was decided that every PC made had to confirm to certain technological standards component by component, piece by piece app by app that means that the black mouse you desire will indeed work with the receiver because HP is part of that grand consortium that agreed to the aforementioned standard
otherwise computing would be a cacophonic hodgepodge of conflicting proprietary stuff clashing with one another the way it was before August 12, 1981 when the 1st IBM PC was introduced while the Apple Macs were for the most part proprietary & proud of it not only that they charged extremely high royalties or forced any computer vendor out of business who wanted to Macintosh clones they only accepted non Mac technology when the differnce could mean their demise or further marginalization
I also apologize for the long 5 day delay this was due to 2 reasons I. I downloaded the Creator Fall update from Microsoft late on the 22nd it took down all the stuff I had replacing the Win 7\10 hybrid desktop which included 10 HP wallpapers that were visually superior to the 2 that are part of my original Pavilion 410 installation with an all Win10 desktop
I had to reinstall everything from scratch because the old Win 7 backup didn't work after 10 days & i'm not too simpatico with the Win10 backup system even though I did everything according to plan
also I was having problems with bent pins in my VGA port which turned all the white parts of my screen a pinkish tinge unfotunately I wasn't able to resolve so I got a new one that upgraded it to 1080p from 720p which makes everything drop-dead dazzilingly gorgeous
again please return if you need us anew

I have read somewhere that the USB is linked to the mouse and keyboard in the factory so cannot be used with another unit even if they are the same model!

I too have the same problem and it looks like there is no definitive answer. I read on one post that it will not work with a new reciever since the hardware ID are linked to each reciever from the factory.
The guy that kept responding with nonsense has clearly lost his mind.
And I think it is HP who is being greedy. making these fragile keyboards and mouses that dont have a unifying receiver. Pfft. Onto logitech it is..
