HP Pavilion TP01-0157c
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

HI, i was following the advice to find correct RAM memory ,I tried to search on HP website for specification on my model number ,and got response that model number not found , the label on back says HP Pavilion TP01-0157c ,but in hp support assistant has me as HP Pavilion TP01-0xxx I tried to search either way ,nothing :))May be I am doing it wrong, I know that its dual slot 32 GB max and currently I have 12GB

Memory slot 1
8GB Micron Technology 3200MHz
Memory slot 2
4GB Samsung 3200MHz       was scratching my head for a little, is there a reason for that different memory types and manufacturers installed ?
Thanks

@Roikin , welcome to the Community.

Here are the Product Specifications for your computer.  It is a bit strange having two different manufacturer's memory, but it won't cause any problems.  I suggest that you look at Crucial's website for the correct memory.  Crucial is the retail division of Micron Memory.  It is normally recommended to install matching pairs of memory because the motherboard has "Dual channel memory architecture".  It will give you the best performance from your new memory.

Please click the "Yes" button if my reply was helpful and "Accept as Solution" if your problem is Solved!!
