550-221ur
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

I'm an absolute newbie in hardware issues. My PC:

Product Name: 550-221ur

Product Number: T1G75EA#ACB

CPU: QuadCore AMD A10-7800 Radeon R7, 12 Compute Cores 4c+8G, 3.50 GHz

Motherboard: HP 2B52

RAM: 8.0 GB

NVIDIA GeForce GT 730

I want to buy a new video card: GeForce GTX 1080 Ti, or 1080, or 1070 Ti, or 1070, or 1060.

So, I ask you, please, to tell me, will some of these videocards be compatible with my motherboard and my PC in general?

Thank you.

Those graphics cards will work for the motherboard, but not for the power supply, and you would also need to check how long the GPU is and if it will fit into your case.

The other problem is, the GTX 1080Ti through the 1070 will not be able to be fully utilized by your CPU, it is quite old, yet it is the one of the best ones you can get. I'd suggest a 1060. And assuming your GPU fits, this setup will work...

Thank you very much!

I just want to check that I understood correctly: if I want to replace my current video card by GeForce GTX 1060, then I should also replace my current power supply by a new power supply (for instance, by the power supply that you recommended)? Otherwise this new video card won't work?

That is correct.

Could you please, tell, me also, will Radeon rx 470 be compatible with my motherboard, CPU and power supply?
