@Ulex -- due to a failure of my motherboard ...

There is one complication -- your copy of Windows is tied to the failed motherboard.

If you try to install Windows onto a new motherboard, it probably will fail to "activate", because Microsoft considers it to be a "new" computer (different video, different network-adapter, maybe different CPU).

So, you probably will need to purchase a new license for Windows 10.

To respond to your question, any motherboard that physically fits, and has the I/O connectors that you want, will work.  Try to find one that will let you "reuse" your CPU and RAM and add-in video-adapter.

Precisely, we are not there yet @itsmyname

like, we dropped here

I think it would be good to check first if all is lost or not
For the moment I have already advised against replacing the motherboard!

I have an hp that ran into problems once
he no longer started
I left it for a while because nothing to do
then i tried again, and i persevered, it restarted, i then updated the bios, to this day it is still running (pc from 2013)

Sometimes there is a small chance

Quite true. My point is that maybe one should not try to reach that destination, because the cost to get there would best be invested in a (now available in retail) Windows 11 system.

The module of ram arrived today. I put out the other 2 modules of ram and put in the new one (8GB DDR4), but the computer still doesn’t work.

So the causes could be at this point either the motherboard or the CPU.

Maybe I should ask to a technician.

What do you suggest me to do?

What happens when you start with the new module?
Either your motherboard is actually HS, or the module may not be compatible
The best would be to have all this tested by a professional, but that it is not too expensive.

It acts as before. 3 long beeps and 2 shorter, repeated 5 times.

Then I’ll bring it to a specialist I guess.

@Ulex -- I looked at: HP and Compaq Desktop PCs - BIOS Beep Codes | HP® Customer Support

but did not find a match for your description of "beep codes".
