Most PC's that I have worked with has some kind of standard fixing where you simply attach it to the chassi with standard screws.
I had a couple of HP Pavillions standing in a corner om my office, I opened them up in hope to find this special screws but they used ordinary screws. Very easy to change disks.
I think it's bad to use special screws but if you do, you must be abel to buy them easily at a reasonable price. The fact that HP suppies one set free of charge shows that they recognize the demand for it and that buyers migh need to install extra drives. This is after all a chassi that support upgrades with several bays free and many SATA ports free on the motherboard.
If I need extra sets they should be priced reasonable and easily to find. Have in mind that I contacted the reseller of the PC, he couldn't find the screws in their productdatabase. I then contacted HPs official spare-parts partner in Stockholm, they couldn' find the screws in their database.
It was first when you supplied me with the partsnumber that I actually was able to get somewhere.
So I'm very grateful for your support and the existens of this forum.
Now, fingers crossed that the delivery arrives on Monday.
