my grandson has the following computer:

HP Pavilion Gaming Desktop, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650, Intel Core i5-10400F, 8 GB DDR4 RAM, 256 GB PCIe NVMe SSD, Windows 11, USB Mouse and Keyboard, Compact Tower Design

I upgraded it with a 1TB NVMe SSD and 32GB of RAM. I am wondering if I can put a MSI Gaming GeForce RTX 3060 12GB 15 Gbps GDRR6 192-Bit  in it. I believe this graphics card would fit since it is small but I would need to replace the power supply. It currently has a 400W LO5757-800 and an HO470 motherboard (Baker 8767). Is there a 500+W HP PSU that would fit?

Thanks for your help.

@Boost2300,

Welcome to our HP User Forum!

Btw, the L05757-800 power supply your grandson's Pavilion is fitted with, is a 500-watt power supply (see: Power Supply Cross Reference for specific models - HP Support Community - 7483923).

You can easily power an HP-branded RTX 3060 12GB graphics card with a 500-watt PSU in this desktop (HP p/n: M41998-001), which you can purchase for less than $300 via eBay.

Hope this was helpful.

Kind Regards,
