Need Help With Installing New USB 3.0 (Old USB broke and needs to be fixed ASAP)

I managed to just now break my brothers USB 3.0 port in his PC.  His motherboard is the Odense2-K  out of his  HP Pavilion 580-023W Desktop PC  and I'd rather not have to buy a whole new motherboard for $250.  I looked up new USB ports to swap over but I'm not too sure on which will work for the motherboard. IF anyone knows of the right USB port I should buy, along with how to properly install it or if I should buy a whole new motherboard, please let me know. Thank you!

if these are the front usb ports you have this reference:

Thanks for the quick reply! I checked out the link, very useful site thank you 🙂 but sadly it's the USB from the back. I couldn't seem to find anything about the USB from the back of the PC unfortunately.

I feared him a little
the problem is that it is directly on the motherboard
you would have to unsolder the old one and solder the new one, it can be quite risky if you do not have the necessary equipment and skills
Better to find a specialist

I greatly appreciate the feedback, I would still like to give it a go at soldering on the new USB. My local shop will charge me the price of a new motherboard just to fix the USB in the PC so I feel like I'm better off doing it myself. I just need to know what my best option will be in getting the right USB to get.

So Open and look,but an usb port, is an usb port, it seems to me that there are no different models
I warn you all the same once again, it is micro soldering, if you fail, you may have to replace the motherboard!

computer motherboards are multilayer, and ABSOLUTELY REQUIRE THE CORRECT EQUIPMENT to remove/replace parts from it

your 35 watt soldering iron isn't going to cut it, and desoldering pins where very fine traces run requires a desoldering station

your attempt to  replace this part is most likely going to result in a destroyed motherboard most repair shops in my area charge around 75.00 to replace a usb jack on a motherboard this is worth doing as your board is around 270/325 dollars used on ebay

yes, @DGroves   that's basically what I'm explaining, it's not worth taking the risk
I personally tried on a usb, but not connected to the motherboard!
there was no risk for it there, but it was very difficult, because I did not have the equipment to
I fixed the connector, but it was still a bit rough!
