I am sorry to bear bad news.

Unfortunately, slimline desktop PCs are the worst scenario for upgrading video cards.

the reason is the lack of upgradeability of the PSU and the very limited space in the case for a video card.

The PSU type for slimline PCs is proprietary, not standard ATX.

Slimline PCs only have space for half-height cards that have very little power. Generally, a video card for a slimline will have less than 2 GB of onboard VRAM.

Most decent video cards need a PSU that supplies at least 350 Watts RMS, not the anemic 180 Watts or so that a slimline PC usually has.

If you can return it and get a standard size desktop PC that meets the World of Warcraft system requirements, that would be a good plan.

World of Warcraft system requirements. See the recommended specifications. This is where you should have started when choosing your PC.

I bought it off Amazon and not really already wasted too much time wiping the old one and now getting the new one. I've been writing a novel for 2 years and im finally in the perfect headspace to bust out the entire thing. Usually i do a thousand words every few months now I'm ready to bust it out can't wait. So it's hopeless? I thought wow would be a nice bonus was looking at more affordability than a graphics card tbh. I bought my old computer 2 or 3 years ago. It was already refurbished and a few years old. Tbh I was ready to take a sledge hammer to it. So I decided to get a new one didn't know it would be impossible.

Unfortunately, for World of Warcraft or any other game that has decent graphics system requirements, even an upgrade to an Intel Core i5 or i7 processor would not be worth it because of the chipset that the motherboard has.

Don't forget to periodically save your novel to an external hard disk to keep your intellectual property safe!

Unfortunately, slimline desktop PCs are the worst scenario for upgrading video cards.  Intel Pentium processors do not have enough processing power for games that have any serious graphics requirements.
