Omen 870-244
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I recently bought a new case in hopes of using it as a platform for some future watercooling as I noticed lately the system would overheat when gaming.

I transferred everything over to the new case and plugged in what I think is the correct configuration for the headers but I can't get the motherboard to boot into BIOS. It gives me 3 long beeps followed by 2 short ones and I can't seem so find any of the beep codes for the Thimpu-K motherboard. I've checked to make sure the Ram is mounted correctly and everything else on the new case is plugged in the way it should be.

Any help would be appreciated.

Greetings,

Welcome to the forum.

I am not a HP employee.

A 3:2 error code is a memory problem.

I would try reseating the memory. Or try one stick of memory at a time.

Thanks Grzwacz.

I think I've figured out the issue. It looks like during the case transfer and while messing around with the AIO cooler I bent some pins on the socket. Looks like the mobo is dead and I will need a new one.

Hi Phenotis,

You're very welcome.

Sorry to hear that.
