Hello,
Can someone suggest a good UPS (how much VA is good enough for 5 minutes backup) for HP OMEN 40L Tower (core i7, RTX 3070 Ti)- GT21-0003in. In addition to the tower, I want to power two 24 inch LED monitors and router.
Thanks in advance.

Welcome to our HP User Forum!
Given that your Omen alone is powered with an 800 watt power supply, I would go for something like the APC BX1500M 1500VA /900 Watt UPS Battery Backup and Surge Protector, such as this example here: https://www.amazon.com/APC-Battery-Protector-BackUPS-BX1500M/dp/B06VY6FXMM/ref=sr_1_4?crid=COW49KSLN....
Hope this was helpful.

You are quite welcome, glad I could be of assistance.
When it comes to a UPS, my experience is that it is beneficial to err on the side of caution. Meaning, it is better to have excess UPS wattage capacity than rely on a marginal wattage capacity. A larger capacity UPS operates well below its maximum capacity, which reduces the stress on its components, and likely increases its lifespan. In addition, a larger UPS such as the one I specified increases spare capacity for future growth, along with extending runtimes. Five minutes runtime is very iffy, imo.
Also, a lower capacity UPS runs the risk of quickly overloading and draining it, which can damage internal components and causing unnecessary UPS shutdowns.
Hope this was helpful.
