Pavilion 590-p0081c
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

Trying to find out if it is possible to upgrade the GPU on my  HP Pavilion 590-p0081c

Bought Horizon Zero Dawn and it doesn't work currently with the stock card.

The min requirements I found online suggest these cards:

  • VIDEO CARD: Nvidia GeForce GTX 780 (3 GB) or AMD Radeon R9 290 (4GB)

Are either of these cards compatible (will they fit / work) in a HP Pavilion 590-p0081c to run Horizon Zero Dawn?

Thanks everyone,

Dave

@CallowayKing Welcome to HP Community!

I understand that you would like to upgrade the graphics card.

I have checked the specification of the computer and graphics card specifications.

Both graphics cards required a 600watts power supply. your product has only 310 W Gold efficiency power supply.

If you would like to change the graphics card, you have to change the power supply as well.
