if there is nothing in the hp support, better not touch ..
But maybe at Nvidia directly, that said just for information, we succeeded with the 1070 model, so no guarantee

apart from the problem listed, you mean?
I haven't looked to see if it brings anything else, but I would say, if you don't have a problem, don't touch anything.
I don't know if there is another newer update..
Don't risk a problem if you don't have anything special
