That is correct. I've order the Crucial RAM that is support and supposedly "works" for my machine. I ordered 4 sticks of 8GB RAM. The computer is seeing that 4 of 4 ports are being used however the PC is only utilizing 16GB instead of 32GB.

@bryantj, I suggest that you contact Crucial's Tech Support.  They should be able to help you get your computer running with the 32 GB of memory.  They guaranty the memory that they recommend will work.  I have had great luck with their Support.

@bryantj

Based on your last post, I don't see a problem.

The problem is that each stick is 8GB not 4GB. 8GB x 4 sticks = 32GB not 16GB.

Let's go all the way back to the BIOS discovery.  Post an image of the BIOS System Information screen.

How do you suggest getting a picture of the BIOS settings without a grainy phone picture? I cannot use SnagIT within the BIOS settings.

Hi,

Many who post on this forum will at times use a phone or still camera and the result is quite exceptable.

If you post the image, I will get it quickly approved. :generic:
