HP Pavilion Desktop - 510-p159a
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have tried EVERYTHING to fix my computer fans from being noisy and nothing has worked. I have spent over $150 replacing them and getting the heat sink cleaned out and the thermal paste reapplied and even though this helped fix the "p90 fan" error message I was receiving it still did not stop the noise. The fans are always running full on regardless of what the computer is doing.  I think it is primarily the heat sink fan. The computer temperature as I have measured it is not even high. I updated the BIOS, did nothing. I tried to download speed fan / adjust the fan speeds in the startup BIOS, it doesn't even let you do it. The computer has also been professionally dusted/cleaned and it is as good as new in that respect. I adjusted all the power settings in Windows, did nothing. I reformatted my PC and it didn't fix anything either.

My computer model is from 2018, it's a

I can't find anything useful to help. It's so annoying and I really want to fix it because I have spent money trying to get to the bottom of it and it's annoying enough I will have to buy a new PC otherwise, even though this one apart from this issue is totally fine.

Hi Promethee sorry about the late response, here attached is a screenshot of the values requested I obtained using the program you linked to.

I think listed FANIN1 has abnormally high speeds and I suspect this is the cause of the problem.

Sorry about the late response, I am looking forward to your reply

I give you my capture to compare
I don't know if this is normal for you but see the fans section
at home we only read fan1 /2 ..
and part of the table is missing

the temperatures here are correct but indeed high speed compared to me, but they are not at all the same models
Check all the same if all the fans work (open the box)
and that the computer is not in a closed place

the fans work and the computer is not in a closed space, what am i able to do to fix this? is it not fixable?

you said that several things have been done
computers clean, repaired...
now the temperatures seem correct here, but the graphics card is obviously missing in the data..
The fans spin quickly, but if they are of good quality, the noise should not be excessive...
it would be necessary to identify at least if one of them makes more noise
it could be the graphics card too, if stock, it doesn't look great:

My computer, it does not make too much noise at rest, but it starts to be noisy if I play for example, but it remains reasonable, I hear perfectly what comes out of the speakers

the noise is coming from the CPU fan, because it is the one spinning the most loudly.

the graphics card was damaged and was removed also. the fans were making a lot of noise before i had everything fixed/repaired, now the computer is running on integrated GPU.

the CPU fan is always always noisy, regardless of what i do. it is at the same level of noise right now as it is when i am playing a game on the computer. the only way to stop it is play music on the computer but i cannot do that all the time.

the noise is not super excessive but is bad enough that it is disrupting my experience with the computer. i really wish i could fix it.

hi here's some more information i did not include in my screenshot

ok, the temperatures are low ..
the cooling system has been replaced following a 90 fan error!
From what you tell me, it seems that no matter the temperature, the fan does not regulate!
in power settings, change advanced power settings
reduce CPU max 60%
if that doesn't change anything i think you have a fan regulation problem
the bios being up to date, it is possible that it is a problem with this fan, or the motherboard, which is not able to regulate the fan
at this point I can't give you a solution
check if the fan is suitable, good connectors!
