HP Pavilion All-in-One
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

There are not enough ports (Plug-in openings?) on the back of my new HP Pavilion All-in-One.  I want to be able to use the little plug that came with my Logitech Rollerball Mouse, but if I remove the current HP plug, I am guessing my keyboard will  stop working.

HELP!!!!

P.S.  I am 75; please use very clear wording.  Thanks.

If all of them are filled you can use this adapter, or one like it, to add 4 USB 3.0 ports by plugging it into # 2. USB 3.0 in the Back I/O (Input/Output) ports:

They may have it available at your local Walmart store.

@DCMugga, welcome to the forum.

We need the model or product number of the All-In-One to answer your question.  Here is a guide to help you find it.

I am 72 yoa.  So, the only way I know how to answer questions is using low tech terms! :Wink:

Thank you for the additional information, @DCMugga.

Here is a diagram of the Back ports of the computer:

Items 1. and 2. are the USB ports that you can use.  Do you have all 3 of them filled?

That image does not look like my computer's back; there are only 6 ports altogether, and I have 5 filled.  The one left is not the type of port that will accept my little Logitech Rollerball plug.  There is only one part that will accept that type of plug-in and I had to use it to power my wireless keyboard and mouse.

Oh, thank you so very much!  That adapter from Walmart looks to be just what I need!  And I live only 2 blocks from Walmart, so I will  be going up there tomorrow.

Thank you so very much for your help!

Take a look at the link in my last post.  You can use the adapter to make 4 ports out of one by plugging it into one of them, as I said.  This will definitely solve your problem.

You are very welcome!!

Just tell one of the Associates in the Electronics Dept at Walmart what you need and I am certain that they will be able to help you.  I buy a lot of my electronics from Walmart.
