I want to produce music on this PC, and i just want to know what my options are to rebuild it with. I just booted up after some time, my old HP pavilion p7 1414, and it was upgraded to windows 10, its just a little slow, but once it gets through the mud of thinking, it really moves well. But it still works alright, and I’m aware of old desktop speeds.. well i’m coming back, from an ipad, I’m probably just gonna utilize both, but to make my PC a proper DAW, what processor and what not, would be best for me? I know i need a minimum of 8gb memory for some software.. and then some say a minimum of 16 gb.. my pc is 6 gb RAM, which used to be great, lol. I consider myself a pro when it comes to GarageBand iOS, and Bias FX 2 mobile, but i want the desktop version now.. though i need to purchase it first, I’d like to have my pc completely ready… I’m aware of the process.. please someone, can ya lay it out for me?
