HP All-in-One - 24-df0040

On start up it says keyboard error. I have tried eVERYTHING. I am now using the onscreen keyboard,hate this way, Awkward. I did the whole deal, called HP but they want me to pay first? Does not seem right. I am under warranty.  I cannot get answers, please help, thanks!

All I want is the keyboard....

@Deb307 -- can you connect a different (borrowed?) USB keyboard, and try?

 

Does your keyboard work with the computer from which you borrowed the keyboard?

 

Can you connect your current keyboard to a different USB port on the computer?

I have tried a usb board a brand new wired one,and the one it came with. In all spots. They work fine on my other pc.😊 ugh

nothing. They work fine on a different pc, its not reading the board... ?

That is strange, unless they charge the fee, before they check your warranty status, and then refund the fee, once they have determined what you are under.

 

If you access http://support.HP.com and find the "check warranty" link, and do your own check, what are the start-date and end-dates for your computer's warranty?
