I am trying to upgrade my 4060ti in my HP OMEN 40L to an RTX 5070. However, when trying to turn on the pc it never boots/posts. 

The bios IS up to date, I upgraded the PSU to 850w months ago, and everything else is up to date. I first wiped the graphics drivers before installing the new GPU but nothing. Then I took out the CMOS battery for a few minutes and still nothing. 

Am I doing something wrong? Is the RTX 5070 just not compatible with the HP OMEN 40L? 

Ryzen 7 7700, 32gb DDR5, 850w PSU.
